• The IU School of Medicine will host its Tuesday night Mini Medical School series beginning Feb. 12 and running through March 19, with lectures ranging from pediatric sleep disorders to the latest research of breast cancer. Enroll now.

• Go on the road to the Lincoln Room at the Lilly Library in Bloomington. Through March 30, meet the Beat Generation through a display featuring the works of Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, Gary Snyder, Gregory Corso, William S. Burroughs, Lawrence Ferlinghetti and Kenneth Rexroth. Included in the display are the manuscript of Kerouac’s Two Blues and Four Haikus, a poster dress from the late 1960s displaying Ginsberg’s poem Uptown N.Y. and a notebook of poetry by Corso.
