| “Sharing the Learning Space,” a day-long conference sponsored by the Indiana Higher Education Telecommunications System (IHETS), is scheduled for April 3 at the Indiana Memorial Union on the Bloomington campus of Indiana University.
The conference is for faculty and staff involved with or interested in online learning and distance education at any IHETS member institution.
This year’s conference focuses on initiatives at IHETS member institutions and beyond to find, create, evaluate and incorporate electronic course materials that track with the newest successful strategies on enhancing learning.
The keynote presenter is Edward M. Cooper, outgoing CEO of the International Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching (MERLOT). A range of afternoon presentations will address such topics as strategies for improving faculty support, library services and online support for classroom, as well as distance learning and successful funding strategies.
