Ars Femina has turned “sweet 16.” The ensemble-in-residence at IU Southeast specializes in original instrument performances of music by 17th- and 18th-century women composers. http://www.ius.edu/Music/ArsFemina/ The first book ever published by the IU Press (in 1951) was Travels in America, 1816-1817, by Edouard de Montuléé, and translated by Edward Seeber, an IU professor of French.
