| IU faculty, staff and student contributions of books and money will be given to pre-med and medical students at Faizabad and Albiruni universities in northeastern Afghanistan in an initiative sponsored by students at the IU School of Medicine.
Contributions of basic science texts, posters and reference books (such as Harrison’s, Washington Manual and Merck) published within the last five years are preferred and have been collected since the end of spring break. Arrangements can be made to have books donated by individuals picked up. Monetary donations also are being accepted. For additional information, E-mail mrinne@iupui.edu or thehawk02@hotmail.com.
