'Web Pages That Suck' author to keynote WebdevShare in October

Vince Flanders, creator of the award-winning Web site, WebPagesThatSuck.com, will give the keynote address at the WebdevShare 2002 conference at IU Bloomington, Oct. 6-10.

Flanders has seen—and commented on—every mistake Web designers can make: mysterious navigation, huge graphics, inappropriate sound files, multi-colored text, needless animation and a thousand others. The book of the same name that grew out of the WebPagesThatSuck.com Web site has been dubbed the "Strunk and White" of Web design books.

In addition to "Web Pages That Suck," Flanders speaks and writes on such topics as "Fixing Your Web Site," "the State of Bad Design in the Year 2001," "Avoiding E-Commerce Design Disasters," "The Top 10 Intranet Mistakes," "Mystery Meat Navigation" and "What Would Amazon.com Do?"

Call for proposal submission forms are available online and are due by May 28. Go to this Web site:
