Aspray joins IU’s newest school

William Aspray, executive director of the Computing Research Association, has accepted a position as full professor in the IU School of Informatics. He will teach and do research in the areas of organizational, social and mathematical foundations of informatics.

Aspray’s previous experience includes teaching at Williams College, and Harvard and Rutgers universities, as well as research and management positions with two organizations of international standing. One of his recent publications is The Supply of Information Technology Workers in the United States, which he wrote with Peter Freeman.
