Co-founder of Nueart Pictures, Izumi will share his experiences and insights on independent animation endeavors, as compared to working with large animation houses. Izumi most recently produced the computer-animated feature, AeroTroopers, in 2001.
AeroTroopers, a feature-length fantasy-adventure, takes place in a world beyond imagination, where a dark force attacks a floating society. Only the AeroTroopers can save the day. Actor Mark Hamill is featured as the voice of Joshua, an orphan, who is rescued and taken in by the AeroTroopers.
