Saturday Science for kids in K-8 begin this month at IUB
The IU School of Education QUEST program will offer Saturday Science classes for children in grades K-8 this fall in Bloomington.

Classes include:

• “The Power of Plants” is for students in grades K-2 who will learn how to grow plants and visit the IU Greenhouse.

• “Energy Excitement: Things That Go, Grow and Glow” is for children in grades 3-4.

• Build Your Own Planet,” for children in grades 5-8, will allow children to envision and design a fictional planet capable of supporting life.

All classes are taught by experienced instructors. The six Saturdays of classes meet from 9:30 a.m. to noon, Sept. 25-Oct. 30. The cost is $70. A limited number of scholarships are available. For more information or to obtain a registration form, go to this Web site: http://mypage.iu.edu/~quest
