Share the burden of rising gas costs by finding a rideshare partner. A new Web site--sponsored by IndyGo--is helping make the matching task simple.
Two main features of the site: interactive matching and a personalized calculator that helps commuters determine the financial benefits of ridesharing. Commuters can submit a profile that details their commuting patterns and within seconds a matchlist is sent. Options include carpool partners, vanpools available and bike buddies.
Other services include a classified advertising section for workers with more unusual commutes and featured services for employers such as vanpooling, transportation planning and parking management.
